It's a feast for matchday 21, with EIGHT Premier League games.

The African Cup Of Nations returns this year with another bunch of big-hitting countries searching for glory when the tournament kicks off in Gabon on January 14th. A number of huge - and familiar - names will be in attendance, including the hosts' Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Senegal's Sadio Mane, Algeria's Riyad Mahrez, and - of course - Hull City's Ahmed El Mohamady.

It's back!

We had the magic of the FA Cup at the weekend, and more cup action makes a return to our TV screens on firstly Tuesday and then Wednesday evenings at the first-leg  semi-finals of the EFL Cup take place in the north-west and then south-west this midweek.

Say what you want about Eddie Hearn (and many do), but the promoter certainly knows how to put a card together. From Haye v BellewAnthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko, DeGale v Jack, and the possible rematch between Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora, 2017 promises to be a stellar year for British boxing. 

The FA Cup is back in business for the Premier League and Championship sides entering the competition for the first time this season. The third round is here, and as we see every year, there are always upsets – or cupsets as they seem to be called nowadays.

I’ve just returned from the funeral of my great friend and former valet John Buckingham who sadly passed away last month.

After a day of nothingness, football makes a welcome return to our screens on Friday night, and it’s the FA Cup of course, where dreams are made and shattered! Knockout football at it’s finest over the weekend (yes, we know there will be replays) and it all begins as Manchester City make the trip south to the capital to take on West Ham in Pep Guardiola’s maiden clash in the competition.

The fun continues tonight and tomorrow, with three matches this evening and the big one tomorrow - Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea. You know, that one where Eden Hazard scored to stop Tottenham from potentially winning the leag... oh, forget it, you know what we're on about. You're not bored of all this festive football? Are you?
