Horse racing betting has been seen plenty of movement this morning, with today’s racing coming from Yarmouth, Exeter, Lingfield and Fairyhouse.
The 15:10 Beginners Chase at Exeter has Bold Henry and Module tied as our two favourites. Bold Henry remains at his starting price of 5/2, and Module has been trading steadily around the 5/2 mark. Module has not been seen since his impressive win at Cheltenham in January and could be a tough horse to beat. However Bold Henry could be in for a shot himself after winning his maiden hurdle race in May by seven lengths, and the two look to be a threat to the other horses.
A few notable movers in the 15:10 Exeter Beginners Chase include Pantxoa who is currently at 15/2 (from 10/1) after being successful in two hurdle races, including his latest hurdle race at Cheltenham which he won by four lengths. Johns Spirit has nibbled his way from 7/1 to 8/1 and Firebird Flyer has moved significantly from 25/1 to 33/1 in horse racing betting. John’s Spirit should certainly not be written off, after winning two hurdle races and a flat race previously. Despite the move Flybird Flyer has won a hurdle race previously, and took fourth of twenty-three on his latest outing. He will be having his first run for a new stable today.
The 15:40 Handicap Hurdle at Exeter has also seen a fair amount of movement, including our 9/2 favourite Gemius (from 7/2). He has won three hurdles previously including his latest outing at Plumpton and has won three times this season. Gemious will be ridden by Richard Johnson and should do well here. Dragon’s Den could also do well, currently at 9/1 (from 10/1) after victories at two hurdles races previously and running well off a higher mark in his latest outing at FFos Las.
One significant mover in the 15:40 Exeter Handicap Hurdle is Regal Flow, currently at 13/2 (from 10/1) despite coming sixth of ten on his latest outing, and Prince Pippin is now at 14/1 from 12/1 in horse racing betting. What Er Say has nibbled his way from 15/2 to 7/1; a possible contender after winning at Fontwell in January.
The 17:30 Lingfield Park Handicap has also been lively, with Caterina now at 5/1 for the win (from 9/2). Despite the move she is still our favourite in this race, and is trained by Richard Hannon. Although she came thirteenth of fourteen on her latest outing she has won previously and should not be sniffed at.
Another to watch in the 17:30 Lingfield Park Handicap is Zenarinda. Currently at 8/1 from 6/1 she should be capable to doing well here after winning Redcar earlier in the month by eleven lengths, although this race will be tougher. Ellie In The Park has won four times previously and it will be interesting to see how she does on her first run for a new stable today. She is currently at 20/1 (from 14/1) in horse racing betting.
