LONDON'S CALLING FOR THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL

England 7/2 | Draw 14/5 |  Brazil 8/11

"Give youth a chance" - It seems Gareth Southgate is taking The Ruts' advice to heart as he continues with his experimental team against the might of Brazil in tonight's International friendly, and after the display against Germany why wouldn't he as the young guns shone, leaving one or two established stars possibly sweating their place on the plane to Russia.

Okay, nobody is suggesting tonight's team will be the starting eleven in Russia, but given the success of the U17s, U19s, U20s, U21s this year something seems to be brewing that has gone relatively unnoticed by the general public: could England really have a manager who is concerned with the bigger picture and is building a squad capable of winning in 2022? 'Joined-up thinking' seems to be the buzz phrase and whilst it's great to hear, we're sticking with the here-and-now, and linked-up passing as England take on the pass-masters Brazil at Wembley.

The teams last met in a set of friendlies in 2013: England winning 2-1 at Wembley and a 2-2 draw in Rio de Janeiro. Heady times, especially when you consider they have met 25 times in total, with Brazil leading with 11 wins to England’s four. However, that was then, this is now...

The problem England face is that Tite arrives with a relatively settled team, looking to remind the world of their potency and ability. They scored three against both Chile and Japan in their last two outings and can pick from any of Costa, Jesus, Neymar, Firmino, Taison, and Souza as their attacking trident. Coutinho is likely to get the nod to start, given Brazil are playing in the country he plies his trade, which would also benefit Willian with his homegrown knowledge, not that either will be familiar with the majority of England's probable starters.

Speaking of which, Angus Gunn, Lewis Cook and Dominic Solanke have all been called into the squad so expect them to feature at some point this evening. When you're hot, you're hot, as they say in Vegas, and it seems Southgate's ready to throw the dice once again...

Possible Starting Elevens:

England XI: Hart; Walker, Stones, Cahill, Keane, Bertrand; Loftus-Cheek, Dier, Lingard; Vardy, Abraham.

Brazil XI: Ederson; Alves, Silva, Jemerson, Marcelo; Casemiro, Fernandinho, Coutinho; Willian, Jesus, Neymar.

What We Sayin’?

Match offer: TOP PRICE ENGLAND - GUARANTEED

We really hate betting against England, truly we do, but there is money to be made here, so let's get down to business. Neymar first goalscorer is a tasty-looking 3-1, whilst the 19-year-old who can keep Aguero out of his club side, Jesus, is even fatter at 4-1. If you fancy England to cause a shock then Vardy is 13/2 to score first, whilst a set piece special. be it a free kick or corner, could be England's gameplan. Captain Eric Dier is 16/1, whilst the MOTM against Germany, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is 14/1 bag the opener.

2-2 was the score the last time these two met, and a 'Desmond' is 14/1. However, we have to be realistic, so we're taking the cubs to gain a shedload of pride in a strong, but unfortunately losing display: BTTS and Brazil win: 13/5.
