Robin Van PersieRoberto Mancini is happy to give Robin Van Persie the time he needs to make the decision on his future, with Manchester City, Manchester United (9/4 To Win The Premier League) Juventus going head to head to secure his services.

Van Persie announced after Euro 2012 that he would not be extending his stay at Arsenal (12/1 To Win The Premier League), and whilst the club haven’t revealed whether they’ll sell him or let him leave for nothing for the sake of a year of his playing time, the likelihood is that they will cash in on their prize asset whilst he still has some value and reinvest the funds in the squad.

Van Persie (8/1 Premier League Top Goalscorer) is yet to reveal his preference for his next club, but Mancini revealed he could sympathise with the Dutchman’s position: “When you talk about Manchester City (5/4 To Win The Premier League),  Manchester United and Juve, it is difficult for a player to choose between those three clubs, They are all top teams and I've no idea what will happen with him. If we have a chance to take him, we will try because we think he is a top striker.”

“For now he is an Arsenal (4/11 To Beat Sunderland On The Opening Day) player and I think Arsenal are a top team. It is not easy for Van Persie and other players to leave them.” Mancini also bemoaned his side’s difficulty in signing players for a fair price, saying: “It's not easy when City try to buy a player. The club we are buying from asks for 30 or 40 per cent more. For this reason it is sometimes difficult to do business. But I think also we need to work better.”
