Rory JiwaniAfter winning the Winkfield Stakes at Ascot this afternoon, Toronado is 20/1 from 33/1 for next year's 2000 Guineas with firm's Rory Jiwani said, "Richard Hannon's juvenile was backed this morning as though defeat was out of the question with Richard Hughes saying he's the best of the stable's two-year-olds. He was far from fully extended this afternoon and there should be plenty of improvement to come from this son of High Chaparral.

"Carlton House has hardened at the head of the market for the Summer Mile at 3.20 with Sir Michael Stoute's four-year-old now 4/6. Tullius is next best at 6/1 with Questioning out to 13/2. In our market without Carlton House, Tullius is 9/4 favourite with Questioning 10/3, Red Jazz 9/2 and it's 6/1 bar.

"For the International Stakes, Lightning Cloud continues to be popular at 8/1 with most of his rivals at the top of the betting proving easy to back. Noble Citizen is 14/1 from 25/1 for David Simcock and we're paying each-way five places for this most competitive of handicaps.

"And then at 4.35, Nathaniel is the 5/2 favourite for the best King George for many a year. Sea Moon has been nibbled in to 11/4 with St Nicholas Abbey 4/1 and it's 7/1 bar. We go 20/1 that Nathaniel wins today and the Arc at Longchamp in October with Sea Moon the same price for that double. St Nicholas Abbey is 25/1 to win both races with Dunaden 40/1 and last year's Arc heroine Danedream available at 50/1.

"Sun Central is the 9/4 favourite in the last having been 10/3 this morning with Joseph O'Brien taking the ride for William Haggas."
