Today’s horse racing betting has seen a fair few price movers, coming from Bangor, Cheltenham, Lingfield and Dundalk.
The 13:55 Cheltenham Handicap Chase has been lively and it could be a tight race. Our 5/2 favourite Bradley is currently back to his starting price, and could do well since taking a close second at the same course last month. He is 5lb heavier now but he could defy the rise and is certainly one to watch.
Quartz De Thaix is also worth a mention as he in entering this race in his best form, taking back to back wins at Bangor and Haydock this season, and he will be looking to secure a hat-trick here. He is stepping up a grade but could still do well, and can be backed at 9/2 (from 5/1). Course specialist Midnight Chase is also one to watch in the 13:55 Cheltenham Handicap Chase and he has won an impressive five hurdles and seven chases previously. He will be a tough horse to beat here and can be backed at 4/1 (from 10/3).
The 14:30 Cheltenham Handicap Chase has also seen plenty of movement, notably with Uncle Junior. He began the day at 11/4 and is currently at 11/4, but could do well despite the move. He took an easy win over this course and distance last month, beating Outlaw Pete, Another Jewel, Wedger Pardy and Double Dizzy. He also had a win at Punchestown this season and all eyes should be on him here.
Arrabella Boy is currently at 10/3 and could be another to watch in the 14:30 Cheltenham Handicap Chase since winning at Punchestown in his latest outing, in which he beat Bostons Angel, and Maljimar could also do well. Maljimar is currently at 11/1 (from 12/1) and has won a hurdle and five chases previously.
Bangor has also been lively, notably in the 14:10 Handicap Hurdle. Sydney Paget is currently our 9/4 favourite despite falling on his chasing debut last month, and he could be worth a second chance here. He has won two hurdles previously and should be looking to bounce back here. Tarbeck should also be looking to bounce back since he was pulled up in his reappearance at Newbury, but he started off well and should not be written off here. He has won a hurdle previously and is currently at 11/2 (from 7/1).
One Term could also be worth a look, currently at 11/2 (from 5/1). He has impressive stamina and has previously won three hurdles and two flat races, including three wins this season. Sixty Something won over this trip at Aintree previously and can be backed here at 8/1 (from 13/2) and Staccato Valtat is at 7/1 (from 8/1).
