horse racingAll eyes are on the Welsh National from Chepstow today which has already seen plenty of movement in horse racing betting. There’s plenty of other action too from tracks at Sandown and Lingfield among others.

Onto the main action from Chepstow and the 13:35 Future Champions Finale Juvenile Hurdle has seen lots of movement. Caid Du Berlais makes the cut to do well here with French-breds having a great record in this race, he’s yet to move in price though sticking, for now, at 2/1. Vasco D’ycy is the other French-bred runner which could do well after a win at Newbury at the end of November, and has moved to 6/1 from a 7/1 original price. Ruacana will want to follow up a win at Catterick last month with a good finish here and can now be backed at 9/2 from a 7/2 original price. Richard Johnson ridden Swnymor is now at 3/1 from 10/3 and could also feature.

In the 14:10 Handicap Chase, Shoegazer looks the pick of the bunch, the A P McCoy ridden eight-year-old won at Newton Abbot in September and is now priced at 4/1 from 9/2. Cedre Bleu is also one to not overlook here and is now priced at 7/2 from 11/4.

The main race of the day is the Welsh National Class 1 race at 15:20. Across The Bay ticks many of the right boxes here and is in excellent form, though is at 28/1 from a 25/1 original price, after briefly touching on 20/1. TeaForThree is certain to do well after beating several of the runners in this race at the National Hunt Chase in Cheltenham last March. He’s available to back at 7/2, from 10/3 with A P McCoy on board. Monbeg Dude won at Cheltenham in November and has the potential to do well here, though Universal Soldier might be more worthwhile now back to it’s original price of 11/1 in horse racing betting.

Onto the action from Sandown now and the 13:50 Class 2 Handicap Chase is a decent race. Domtaline looks set to feature here and can be backed at 11/4 having moved from 5/2. The six-year-old was runner-up at Haydock in November and Cheltenham before that in October so is worth keeping an eye on. William’s Wishes also looks decent winning its last four races, with its most recent at Ascot in November and is sure to do well here priced at 11/10 from 5/4.

In the 14:25 Class 1 Tolworth Hurdle, Poet could remain unbeaten here after a victory at Newbury last month and can be backed at 10/3 from a 7/2 original price. Pendra is unbeaten and could make even further profress here moving from 15/2 now trading at 8/1. Melodic Rendezvous is also a worthy bet and can be backed at 9/2 after moving from 10/3.

At Lingfield the 14:35 Class 2 Handicap race looks a good one. Whaileyy has the best chance here it seems and is in good form coming off the back of a win at Kempton in November and is now trading at 11/4 after moving from a 3/1 original price in horse racing betting. Farmleigh House is worth considering too after landing a double at Dundalk and is available to back at 5/1 moving from 9/2.
